AUSTIN, Texas, USA — On Monday 15 June the HSMAI Revenue Optimisation Conference, held prior to the HITEC exposition, took place in Austin, TX, to much acclaim from the 500+ attending hospitality professionals.

The conference, generally considered a unique one-day interactive programme with thought leaders, experts and practitioners with a deeper understanding of revenue management’s many aspects, touched on crucial topics, such as guest requirements, from personalisation, people, transparency and consistency, through to shelter and security, to mention but one of the many subjects addressed during HSMAI ROC 2015.

“HSMAI in America and the HSMAI Americas Revenue Management Advisory Board, who organised the event, have exceeded themselves this time, offering in-depth knowledge on the latest trends and best practices in the increasingly important field that Revenue Management is,” says HSMAI Europe’s President and CEO Ingunn Hofseth. The HSMAI ROC turnout passed a whopping 500, with ample margins.

“We see a growing interest for the subject our side of the pond, too, and HSMAI Europe will make sure to stay abreast with the latest development on the field,” she adds, continuing: “The next annual ROC Conference in Europe will take place in London in February, for the 6th time.”

Revenue Management is of particular interest for hospitality professionals with direct responsibility for revenue optimisation and pricing, as well as management leaders interested in staying ahead of the curve, and has been an important area of commitment for HSMAI for many years.
